RCG Members (excluding colorguard)

All new marchers (and some returning members) received their new marching shoes on Thursday, July 31st.  Please have your student try on their shoes (with socks) to be sure that they still fit properly.  There are always some students that grow between the time they are fitted and the time that they need to beging using the shoes.  If they need to exchange their shoes, please have them bring them to me ASAP so that I can get them reordered.  One last item regarding the shoes.  I have placed labels on the inside heel of each shoe.  Please be sure tht those labels are not removed.  If the shoes are lost or forgotten somewhere, the labels identify who they belong to.

The black RCG t-shirts were distributed as well.  Just so you know, this shirt is to be worn under thei runiform during each performance.

Soda Drive for Royal Invitational

Don't forget to sign up and donate soda or water for the Royal Invitational.  http://www.signupgenius.com/go/508044baba92da31-sodawater.   It must be Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite or Dasani Water.  We cannot accept any "zero" or "caffeine free" sodas or any other brand of water. There will be 5 opportunities to drop off your donations.  Tuesday, September 2nd at practice pickup; Wednesday, September 3rd at both drop off and pick up; and Saturday, September 6th at both drop off and pick up.  Please meet Rita Keeling or Melissa Schulman at the sidewalk entrance of door #13.  They will have a wheeled cart to accept your donations.  If you have any questions, please contact Rita Keeling at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. RCG Member Attire for Football Game
Thursday, 28 August 2014 12:52

RCG Member Attire for Friday, August 29th Football Game

Don't forget, all RCG members need to wear their "Parade Attire" for the performance at Friday's football game.  That means they need to wear the BLUE HSE t-shirt (that they wore in the parade), Khaki shorts, white socks and athletic shoes (no sandals or flip flops).  Since there will be practice immediately following school at 3:15, be sure to have your student either wear or bring all the required items with them to school so that they have them for the performance.
  • The RCG will be served dinner before the game.  This week's menu is hot dogs, chips, carrots, cookies and Gatorade.  If your child doesn't like hot dogs please plan on sending a sack dinner.  They will not have access to the concession stand before or during the game.
  • We are still in the midst of our belated "summer temps" so students should bring a water jug with them to school.  They'll need them for the after school practice and can fill them up at the school.
